Ministry imposes curfew on Bunkprugu
The Minister of the Interior has on the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument renewed the curfew hours on the Bunkprugu Township.
A release signed by Mr James Agalga, the Deputy Minister for Interior, said the curfew would be effective from 2000hrs to 0600 hrs beginning Tuesday 29th December, 2015
It urged the people of the area to exercise restraint and use non-violent means to channel their concerns.
The release said the ban on all in the district and surrounding areas from carrying arms is still in force and offenders would be arrested and prosecuted.
