Chelsea sacks Mourinho
News out of the UK says Stamford Bridge team, Chelsea has sacked coach Jose Mourinho.
According to the BBC, 52-year-old Mourinho known as the ‘Special One’ was sacked today following the team’s latest defeat at Leicester City on Monday. Chelsea was beaten 2-1.
Mourinho took charge of the team as coach for the second time in June 2013.
“Chelsea finished eight points clear last season and also won the League Cup, but have endured a terrible start to their defence, losing nine of their 16 league games so far,” the BBC reported.
His possible successors, the publication said are Pep Guardiola, Guus Hiddink, Brendan Rodgers and Juande Ramos.
Chelsea is just one point off the relegation zone and 20 points behind Leicester.
