Black Stars to play Comoro Islands on November 13

The Black Stars of Ghana will commence their campaign for the 2018 World Cup in Russia with a game against Comoro Islands on Friday, November 13.

According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Stars will play Comoro Islands at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in Moroni, Comoro Islands.

The GFA said, the second leg fixed for Ghana will be played on November 17.

The Stars will need to overcome Comoro Islands to book a place in the next stage of the qualifiers.

Comoros made a surprise entry into this phase after beating Lesotho on away goals in the first round of the qualifiers.

Ghana has since 2006 made a representation at the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup with their best performance in 2010 when they advanced to the quarter-final stage.
