MTN Ghana says to invest $103 million in network expansion

MTN-LogoMTN Ghana is to invest $103 million to expand, optimise and maintain its state-of-the art network infrastructure to better serve its valued customers.

The company has invested over $2.4 billion in network expansion from 2006 to 2014.

Mrs Jemima Kotei Walsh, the Customer Relations Executive of MTN, was speaking during an interaction with some of the Network’s prestigious customers in Accra.

The event was also to appreciate these customers for their patronage of MTN’s business over the years, their loyalty to the brand and also to introduce the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

She said as a mobile telecommunication company, they were providing customers with innovative mobile communications that were relevant and have made the desired impact on the lives of their customers.

“We are beckoning our customers to take advantage of the many benefits of digitisation,” she said.

Mrs Kotei said, as a leading mobile telecommunication provider, the company was actively pursuing the vision of leading a delivery of bold new digital world for its customers.

Mr Ebenezer Asante, the Chief Executive Officer, MTN Ghana, said the company has in place measures to better serve its customers, and that, at every cell site of the company, they have power backups to ensure 24-hour power supply.
