Hearts, yet to concede a goal in this year’s competition scored thrice in the first half to become the first team to qualify for the penultimate fixture.
The victors’ Emmanuel Hayford fetched the opener in the 11 minutes before Eric Kumi and Gerald Odupong Wellington wrapped up victory.
The Phobians, the only side to keep a clean sheet all competition eliminated Elimina Sharks (1-0), Bolga Man City(3-0) and Afienya City(1-0) in the Round of 64, 32 and 16 respectively on their way to the semi finals.
Meanwhile, the winner of Wednesday’s outstanding round of 16 matches between Great Astronomers and Medeama will play WAFA in their quarter-finals with the winner of that tie taking on Hearts in the semifinal stage later in the month.
