Ceona and Seaweld in Ghana partnership for offshore projects

Oil2Ceona and Sewaeld have formed a partnership for offshore construction projects in Ghana, according to reports.

Ceona, SURF contractor with heavy subsea construction capabilities, has entered into what is being described as a significant Joint Venture (JV) with Seaweld Engineering, the publication World Pipelines has reported, indicating that it will act as a strategic partner for offshore deepwater construction projects in Ghana.

The JV allows Ceona to extend its operations in West Africa.

The agreement, the report notes will see Seaweld Engineering supporting Ceona in delivering its full line of products and expertise in Ghana. The companies have been working together since late 2014 and the JV was officially registered by the Petroleum Commission in Ghana in March 2015.
