Freddy Meiway to Perform at Karela Beach Resort

Freddy Meiway, one of Nzema’s illustrious music icon is to perform a live concert at Karela Beach Resort in Beyin, near ‘Nzulezo’ in the Jomoro District of the Western Region.

This is part of events to formally open the resort on December 20.

The Events Management said Mrs Mathilda Amissah-Arthur, the second lady, who is also a native of Nzemaland, is expected to officially inaugurate ‘Karela’ Beach Resort on the concert day.

The live concert which is dubbed: “Karela Resort -Meiway Nzemaland Live Concert”, the first performance to be held by the “Zoblazo” fame in his native Nzemaland is sponsored by Karela Beach Resort, a new four- star hotel established in the area.

The concert is targeted at hosting all citizens of Nzemaland both within and outside the country.

The event would also be supported by other Nzema finest artistes like Egya Kay of ‘Mafi Odo fame, Rasty Kanyah of M1, King Edwards and supported by King Shaboo Band.

According to promoters of the concert, Nzema Events Management, the event is going to be a memorable one since it would be used as a platform to bring together all Nzemas to celebrate their icons.

The Events Management body told Ghana News Agency: “Freddy Meiwey is a true son of Nzema and we are happy to host him in a grand style by organising such a concert.’
