Observe Friday as holiday – Ministry

The Government has declared Friday, December 5, as a statutory public holiday.

A statement issued by the Ministry of the Interior, and signed by Mr James Agalga, the Deputy Minister, therefore, entreated Ghanaians to observe the day as such.

The first Friday in December is commemorated as the National Farmers’ Day, annually.
