Korle-Bu, Mamprobi Polyclinic deliver 17 babies

Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and Mamprobi Polyclinic  delivered 17 babies on Christmas day.

Mrs Emelia Anim, Principal Nursing Officer of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, told the GNA that 15 babies were delivered and were made up of eight females and seven males. Four of the babies were delivered through caesarean operation.

She appealed to pregnant women to eat well and take medications as prescribed by doctors to ensure complication-free delivery.

Mrs Theresa Mabe, Midwife Officer at the Mamprobi Polyclinic, said two girls were delivered and were delivered without complications.

She appealed to mothers to take their personal hygiene seriously and to breast their babies for six months and not to give them water.
