Mahama nominates six new MMDCEs
President John Dramani Mahama has, in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462, made the following Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCE).
They are Gomoa East: Isaac Kingly Ahunu, Wenchi: Dauda Hakibu, Bawku Municipal: Isahaku Bukari, Ejura Sekyedumase: Mohammed Bawa Braimah, Mampong Municipal: Mohammed Kojo Aboasu and Wa East: Abudul- Karimu Abudu, a statement from the Media Office of Flagstaff House Communication Bureau, Office of the President, issued on Monday and copied to Ghana News Agency, has said.
