Angolan envoy calls for joint military commission in Africa

Ana Maria Teles Carriera, Angolan Ambassador, has called on African leaders to build bilateral relations to promote peace and security in the region.

She also suggested the establishment of a joint military commission as a first step of building relations between Ghana and Angola and the rest of Africa to harmonise peace on the continent.

Ms Carriera made the call when she visited Vice Admiral Mathew Quashie, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) at his office in Accra.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Directorate of Ghana Armed Forces said the visit was to strengthen relations between Ghana and Angola and to seek Ghana’s assistance in training Angolan Military in English language.

The Ambassador presented a magazine of Angola’s 10 years peace project to the CDS.

Vice Admiral Quashie commended the Ambassador for the visit which he said would help strengthen the relations between the two countries.

He said Africa has become a global village and leaders have to come together and develop their countries endowed with enormous natural resources.

    Angola should respect it people and not to steal from his people because it will be very expensive in the long run. Ghana as a country will continue to Educate it people as Dr. Nkrumah said that Africa should developed Africa instead of stealing from it people after all you can never go with the money and the people themoney is left with are cannot look after the money anyways
