President John Dramani Mahama on Friday renewed Government’s commitment to fulfill all campaign promises before the end of his four-year term.

He, therefore, appealed to all National Democratic Congress (NDC) members to rally behind him, the Executive, Legislature and other organs to achieve those development goals.

President Mahama said this when he inspected progress of work on the new  160-bed Regional Hospital in Wa as part of his official visit to the Upper West Region.

Apart from inspecting the work and addressing party members at the airport, President Mahama visited the Wa Naa Palace.

He is expected to cut a sod for a water project at Dabo in the Wa West District and finally address a durbar of chiefs at the Wa Jubilee Park.

President Mahama said although there had been apprehension about his delivery in terms of development projects, his Administration had put in place measures that would help to address all concerns in the coming years.

He appealed to party supporters to bury their differences and forge ahead for the development of the country as petty squabbles would not help in the onward movement of the country.

On prosperity of businesses and individuals, President Mahama promised to undertake investment-friendly projects that would subsequently enhance the development of all.

He appealed for peace and unity which could serve as the ingredients of nation- building.
