Ghana Premier League: Hearts dares Medeama at Cape Coast

footballAccra Hearts of Oak will seek to keep the chase on Asante Kotoko when they host Medeama SC in the twelve week of the Ghana Premier League at the Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast in midweek.

The Phobians, a point adrift the defending champions are compelled to play their home game at Cape Coast following a ban by the Premier League Board (PLB).

Medeama are beginning to hit their strides after a torrid start to the season and the clash at the Robert Mensah Stadium is expected to be a cagey one if Hearts’ quest to wrap all three points as icing on their cake for the 102 celebrations on Monday is anything to go by.

At the Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko will engage King Faisal in a local derby as the Porcupine Warriors seek to shake off their embarrassing defeat to AshGold at the weekend.

Matches involving both teams who share the same venue can be thrilling with Wednesday’s expected to be no different.

While Kotoko enter the game straight from their whipping at the Len Clay Stadium, Faisal bask in the glory of beating Edubiase 3-0 at the weekend and will feel confident to hand the former their third defeat of the season.

Elsewhere at the Gyamfi Park, New Edubiase will lock horns with Amidaus in an envisaged interesting encounter. Amidaus who lost last week at home to Hearts will be seeking to get better results whilst the homers who are languishing in the relegation zone tries to weave their way out.

Bottom side Inter Allies will host third placed AshantiGold at the Tema Park whilst Aduana Stars will be seeking to better their unimpressive performance in the season as they welcome Ebusua Dwarfs to the Agyemang Badu Park at Dormaa.

Wa All Stars will come face to face with Berekum FC who have won three out of 11 games  whilst Hearts of Lions travel to play as visitors of Bechem United at the Bechem Park.

At the Essipong Sports Stadium, Hassacas will welcome Liberty Professionals.
