President Mahama re-assigns former NSS Boss

President John Dramani, on Monday appointed Mr Vincent Senam Kuagbenu, former Executive Director of the National Service Scheme to the Office of the President to coordinate the rationalisation and re-registration of government vehicles.

A statement issued by the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau, said Mr Kuagbenu would be working as a Presidential Aide attached to the Office of the Chief of Staff and would work in collaboration with the Administrator General of the Presidential Estates Unit.

This new assignment follows the completion of his accumulated leave.

The statement said the rationalisation and re-registration of government vehicles was announced in the State of the Nation Address by President Mahama in February.

The body is charged to come out with new registration plates to government vehicles listed under the exercise.
