CAF hands Ghana November 30th deadline

CAFGhana has up to the end of November to confirm participation in next year’s Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) intercontinental club championships.

CAF has asked the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to confirm participants for the Champions League and the Confederation Cup competitions before Saturday November 30, deadline.

Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that the draw for both competitions will be held in December.

Asante Kotoko and Berekum FC are expected to feature in the Champions League with  debutants, Medeama and Ebusua Dwarfs playing in the Confederations Cup.

Ghana will be represented at both competitions with two teams each for the first time in five years.

Hearts of Oak remains the only Ghanaian side to have won both competitions.
