King Faisal blames bias officiating for poor Premier League

footballKing Faisal has blamed their poor run in the Premier League on what they call biased officiating.

Faisal are three places above the drop with the club fingering match officials for their unimpressive run in the campaign.

Ankomeah Sakyi Boateng, Public Relations Officer of the club told GNA Sports that “We have not enjoyed the best of officiating in our matches and this is not helping the cause of the team”.

Having amassed six points of a possible 21, Faisal has won just once, drawn thrice and lost three in the seven-week-old Premiership that has their city rivals, Asante Kotoko sitting at the apex of the log.

Sakyi Boateng said “We had taken a serious view of the trend of officiating which is really affecting the fortunes of the club this term.”

Faisal will be on the road to Cape Coast where they face Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium in midweek and Sakyi Boateng says the team is focused on returning with a decent result.

“Despite the challenges in the face of poor officiating, we are focused on working hard for the journey ahead.”

Faisal are only two places behind their host who are 12th on the log with seven points.
