Garu Tempane District elects Presiding Member

Mr Daniel Syme, Deputy Upper East Regional Minister at the weekend called on Presiding Members to operate an open door administration.

This, he said would allow members of the assembly to willingly contribute in the decision making process and development agenda.

Mr Syme made the call at the second session of the Garu-Tempane District Assembly to elect a new presiding member.

He urged Mr Edward Dahamani Alaal who was re-elected to use his office as a tool to turn round the fortunes of the assembly.
