Lecturer urges youth to be focused

Dr (Mrs) Rita Dickson, a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has counseled the youth to be focused and get their priorities right.

He said they needed to show responsibility, be disciplined and work hard towards achieving set goals.

She was speaking at a youth education forum organized by the Grace Baptist Church, Amakom-Kumasi, under the theme: “Making the most of your youth”.

Dr (Mrs) Dickson said that there were no shortcuts to success and that was why they should take their education seriously.

They must make prudent use of their time and take advantage of opportunities to bring dignity to themselves, family and church.

Mr Emmanuel Michael Asankomah, the Youth President, encouraged his colleagues to put in their best wherever they found themselves.
