Dr Sagoe retires as CEO of Tamale Teaching Hospital

stethoscopeDr Ken Sagoe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), on Wednesday announced that he would compulsorily retire from public service and as CEO of the TTH.

A statement by the Management of TTH and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Tamale on Wednesday said “In view of upcoming pressing national and international engagements, I, Dr Sagoe, this day 18th September, 2013 hereby hand over the CEO and the Management of the TTH to Dr Prosper Akanbong as the Acting CEO.”

The statement said “The foregoing has the endorsement of the Board and Management of the TTH.”

Dr Sagoe thanked all TTH stakeholders and collaborators for the immense support during his five–and-half-year tenure as the CEO of the TTH.
