Ghana says will play Egypt match in Kumasi

Ghana will play the first leg of the final qualifiers of the FIFA 2014 World Cup against Egypt in Kumasi, on Sunday October 13.

Ghana Football Association ( GFA) has confirmed this to global football body, FIFA, ahead of the qualifiers which guarantee the winner over the two leg a place at the World Cup.

The Black Stars are seeking a third successive appearance at the global gathering with Egypt as the last hurdle to destination Brazil.

Egypt were 1-0 winners the last time both teams clashed in a competitive duel at the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola where Ghana were silver medalist.

The return leg will be played in November in Egypt.
