Wenchi Rural Bank donates to Hospital
The Wenchi Rural Bank has presented a double decker refrigerator and 43 flat screen television costing GH¢5,000 to the Wenchi Methodist Hospital.
The bank has also adopted the hospital’s Children Ward and pledged to provide patients with all their basic health needs at periodically.
Mr Yaw Odame Darkwa, Board Chairman of the Bank, explained that the presentation was in line with the Bank’s corporate responsibility and also formed part of activities lined up to celebrate its third anniversary.
He said the bank placed premium on the general well-being of the people and promised to assist the hospital to promote quality healthcare delivery in the municipality.
The Very Reverend Ebenezer Popeson Adjei, the hospital’s chaplain, thanked the bank for the donation and expressed optimism that the Bank would continue to support the hospital.
