The brain behind this criminal act is Emmanuel Ameevor who is the Managing Director of Gentrac Investments Limited. This man has swindled thousands of people all in the name of Investment. This man parades himself as a Minister of the Gospel and calls himself Reverend. He has also added Dr. to his accolades. He diverted these monies from his core business which is hire purchase into Microfinance, Transportation, Real Estate, Broadcasting, Import & Export, Logistics, Gentrac Business and Technology Institute (GBTI), Rick Consult, Church Business (New Life in Christ International Church with its head office – Emmanuel Assembly located at the GBTI building Teshie Tsui Bleoo), a supply shop being operated by the wife etc. They used to have a website for Gentrac Group of Companies where all these companies and more have been listed. However, due to the fraud perpetuated on the people of Ghana, this site has been pulled down.
The man Emmanuel Ameevor is no where to be found. Though their offices are opened, none of the workers including a new CEO claims not to know the where about of the one who they are working for. No family member including his wife seem to know his where about. As of yesterday their mobile bankers are still moving around in Nungua and its environs collecting money from unsuspecting Ghanaians.
Why must innocent Ghanaians suffer in the hands of this wicked man whilst the authorities remain silent? People have made complaints at police stations, Bank of Ghana and other places yet nothing is being done. His cronies and accomplices who I can say on authority know his hideouts are walking on the streets of Accra enjoying other peoples sweat. The earlier the authorities act the better it will be to restore confidence in our Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
