7th Accra International Marathon fixed for September 29

The seventh edition of the Accra International Marathon (AIM), will take place on Sunday, September 29.

The one-day event will feature full marathon (42km), half-marathon (21km), a 10-km race and for the first time, a 5-km race.

According to the organizers, Fit 4 Life, the marathon will start at Prampram, through Tema to the finish line at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

Ekua Bannerman-Richter, Race Director said “we are inspired to produce a destination event worthy of the long journeys-both physically and psychically that culminate in the AIM for many of our participants. We promise our participants that this year will be even more exciting and fun-filled than previous years.”

The AIM is an annual mass recreational sport that attracts both national and international participants to a world-class marathon running and walking event to promote an active lifestyle.
