Reverend Dr Erasmus Odonkor, Ga Presbytery Chairperson of the Church, in a sermon, reminded the new ministers of their core objective of leading society particularly to the Lord.
He urged them to selflessly contribute their quota to make the Presbyterian congregation a dynamic and Christ-like family, living all their lives for the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
“You have the task of bringing all members of your congregation into fellowship and helping to educate them to lead sound moral lives,” he said.
Rev Odonkor asked them to pray always since it is the only way to have a complete communion with God.
He reminded the ministers that they had the greatest challenge of campaigning against vices such as homosexuality and same sex marriage to save the lives of the youth and vulnerable in society.
The Presbytery Chairperson urged the ministers to have time for themselves and their family as well as reading the scriptures for their spiritual growth.
