policeThe Eastern Regional Police Command has announced the retrieval of a stolen car from suspected car-snatchers by the Tarkwa Police in the Western Region.

The car, a Nissan Sentra cab, painted yellow and ash has its registration number tampered with and thereby making it identification very difficult.

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency was signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, the Regional Public Affairs and Operations Officer.

It said the car was intercepted on Thursday July 11, at Tarkwa and called on the owner to report at the Tarkwa District Police Command with its valid documents for identification and collection.
