Flemingo International opens another sales outlet in Ghana

plane1Flemingo, a global travel retail company with presence in Africa, Asia and Europe, has opened another duty free sales outlet in Accra, signalling soaring confidence in Ghana’s economy.

This brings to three the number of its branches since establishing a foothold in the country, five years ago.

A press release mailed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi by the Retail Manager, Thomas Rinu, said, adding one more exclusive store, is clear demonstration of commitment towards growing the customer base in Ghana.

Their goal, he said, “is to provide a unique world-class shopping experience while offering diverse range of products from the world’s leading brands”.

“Our emphasis has always been on quality and convenience and I am delighted to note that, we are leaving no stone unturned here in Ghana to meet the expectations of our clients.”

Flemingo’s Roman Ridge shop, measures over 800 square meters of stocks, including outdoor and camping equipment, travel accessories, glassware, home décor and toys.

Also on hand are perfumes, cosmetics, liquor and confectionery.

Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, South Africa, Cape Verde and South Sudan are among countries in Africa where the company is operating and according to Mr Rinu, they are going to expand to cover more countries in the continent.

The company now has 121 outlets in 25 countries worldwide, under different formats such as airport, seaport and border stores, in-flight duty free retail, coffee shops, online retail, and fashion accessories boutique.
