footballRetired players of Asante Kotoko trounced Hearts of Oak 3-1 in a friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi on Sunday.

The game aimed at raising funds for charity and also contribute towards the welfare of the retired players saw Kotoko register all their goals in the first half with Isaac Boakye hitting a brace in the 20th and 42nd minutes, while Godwin Ablorddey  also found target in the 27th minute.

Hearts, however, was the first to score as Ayittey Dormon took on the Kotoko defence to slot home in ninth minutes.
