R2Bees named 2013 Ghana Artiste of the Year

Tema-based Hiplife group, R2Bees, has been named 2013 Artiste of the Year at this year’s Ghana Music Awards held May 18, 2013 but dragged to the next day.

The Artiste of Year is the biggest award for the music awards event and the duo, Faisal Hakeem (Paedae) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez), will take home a car.

Nominated for the 2013 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, R2Bees were the biggest winners at the Ghana Music Awards as they took home six awards.

In 2012, rapper, Sarkodie was the Artiste of the Year at the GMA.
