Dzetse Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, Paramount Chief of Ada and President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs, has called for closer collaboration between Christiandom and Chieftaincy.

He said this would foster unity and peace for the development of every society areas.

He admonished Christians not to persist in seeing the chieftaincy institution as paganism and promote collaboration that would bring progress to the communities.

Nene Kabu Akuaku made these remarks when he addressed a congregation of the Trinity Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Big Ada at a prayer session for chiefs, priest, politicians and people in authority.

He said Chieftaincy and Christianity are from God and that by both coming together it would help to solve some of the problems the people face.

Nene Kabu Akuaku thanked the churches for their prayers for peace and stable governance.

Rev S.B. Larwerterh, the Presbyterian Resident Minister, in his sermon called for unity between the church and the chieftaincy institution.
