The Chief Executive of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Mrs Bertha Sogah, has been directed to proceed on leave to pave the way for investigations into allegations of conflict of interest made against her.

Sources close to the Board of Directors of the Centre said that the Office of the President had directed the Board to ensure that Mrs Sogah proceeded on leave with immediate effect.

It said the directive followed allegations of conflict of interest in the dealings of the Chief Executive with companies such as Amisgold Microfinance Service Limited, which is alleged to be owned by her husband.

A heartless woman who deceives professionals to join her defunct pergah transport company and without reasons fires them. As a victim, I knew bertha ansah djane, I understand she is now mrs sogah, will certainly pay for the bad things she did to people, especially men. I wonder how come late president mills appointed her as CEO of masloc, may be through the instrumentality of kojo thompsom. Bertha see your kingdom has started crumbling. Well done President Mahamah. Sack them all if you want to succeed because a lot of president mills’ appointees did not help him. God bless mother Ghana.
