The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has written to Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew to ask them to reconsider their decisions to temporarily retire from the Black Stars.

The GFA received a letter from Andre and Jordan on Monday citing various reasons for their decision to temporarily retire from international football.

We have asked Jordan to reconsider his decision and make himself available for selection for future Black Stars assignments.

For Andre the GFA is keen on knowing the details of his grievances so that an amicable settlement can be reached.

We want to assure Ghanaians that we will engage Andre and Jordan in discussions to get them to rescind their decisions.

If you have an indecisive hot-head of a carpenter for a coach your best players will surely retire and who can blame them for that?

This serves as a lesson to G.F.A. because of some differences between the coach and their father when he actually divided the then black stars. We should watch out and correct the anomaly now and forever.
