Ex-Ghana international Kevin Prince Boateng has been invited to the UN organised International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, his club AC Milan confirmed on its website.

The event will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland and “will concentrate on Racism in Sport,” AC Milan said.

The event was first held in 1966.

The news comes after judgment by the Italian Football League not to take action against Kevin Boateng or Milan in the light of the team leaving the pitch during the match against lower league Italian side Pro Patria at Busto Arsizio.
