French President Francois Hollande has sent his Minister responsible for Francophone Africa, Ms Yamina Benguigui to represent him during the January 7, 2013 swearing-in of President John Dramani in Ghana’s capital Accra.
Ms Benguigui shall give a letter from the French President to President Mahama, according to a statement issued by the French government.
She is expected to hold talks with Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni.
Ms. Benguigui concludes her visit with a meeting with Ghanaian personalities to prepare for the Global Forum Francophone women to be held in Paris March 20, 2013.
