Ghana names 26-man team for 2013 Nations Cup

Ghana Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah today December 13, 2012 revealed his 26-man squad for the 2013 African Cup of Nations to be held in South Africa.

A statement issued  by the Ghana FA says the 26-man squad will be pruned to a final 23 for the competition after the team’s training camp in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Adam Kwarasey, Fatau Dauda and Daniel Adjei

DEFENDERS
Harrison Afful, John Paintsil, Kissi Boateng, Wakasu Mubarak, John Boye, Isaac Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah, Rashid Sumaila, Awar Mohammed, Jerry Akaminko.

MIDFIELDERS
Anthony Annan, Derek Boateng, Rabiu Mohammed, Agyemang Badu, Solomon Asante, Albert Adomah, Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu and Kwadwo Asamoah

STRIKERS
Asamoah Gyan, Boakye Yiadom and Emmanuel Clottey and Yahaya Mohammed.
