Security personnel will vote on Friday – EC

The Electoral Commission says all security personnel and election officials, who for various reasons could not cast their ballots during the special voting on Tuesday, will vote on Friday 7th December.

This was contained in a press release signed by Mr Sarfo- Kantanka, Deputy Chairman of Operations at EC and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday.

It said the security personnel, who wished to take advantage of this opportunity, should carry with them a service identification card to show to presiding officers for them to be given the privilege to vote without joining the queue.

The statement said election officials might also show their letters of appointment as election officials to enjoy the same privilege.
