Amansie West District gets 250 wheelchairs for people with disability
“Walkabout Foundation” has made available 250 wheel chairs valued at about GH¢150,000.00 for distribution to people with disability in the Amansie West District.
The NGO which operates in the United States and the United Kingdom, made the donation through the Bonsaso Millennium Villages Project (MVP).
Ms Monica Gonzalez Bunster, the Director of the Foundation, said her organization focuses on funding research seeking for paralysis cures.
Mr Samuel Danquah, Manager of the MVP, thanked the NGO for the generous support.
