Three firms make social contribution to SSNIT after court summon

Three companies have paid to the Social Security and National Insurance (SSNIT) a total amount of GH¢4,306.48 as social security contributions.

The amount represents contributions of their staff and penalty after the trust instituted court action against them.

The companies located within the operational area of the Tema East Branch of SSNIT are Dedicated Logistics, GH¢2,774.05, Sweet Roses Co Ltd, GH¢777.53 and Sana Travels and Tour, GH¢754.90.

The companies were summoned before the Tema District Magistrate Court at the White House.

In a related development Sena Radio, an Ashaiman based FM radio and its affiliate Senaky Travel and Tours have submitted contributions report from May to August to SSNIT in respect of the FM station.

This was after the company has been brought before the same court charged with non-submission of contribution report.
