Top MTN Ghana officials including CEO to be arrested

Michael Ikpoki – MTN Ghana CEO

The Chief Executive Officer Michael Ikpoki and two other top officials of MTN Ghana have been ordered to be arrested.

The order was given by a fast track high court today September 27, 2012 after the three failed to appear in court in a case brought against the company by the Executive Secretary of the dissolved Constitution Review Commission Dr. Raymond Atuguba over some services cut.

John Hoffman, Chief Technical Officer and Customer Relations Executive, Jemima Kotei are the other officials also to be arrest, according to the court order.

MTN was previously ordered to restore all communication services to Dr Atuguba, the plaintiff, but the mobile operator is yet to honour the court’s order.
