Ghana-Liberia friendly: Ayew brothers benched

Ayew brothers – Dede and Jordan will start from the bench as goalkeeper Fatau Dauda makes his senior debut for Ghana against Liberia in a friendly to be played today in Monrovia.Andre Ayew and younger brother, Jordan started for the Black Stars during the team’s 2-0 win over Malawi in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier played in Accra last Saturday.Coach Kwesi Appiah also named winger Solomon Asante in his starting team against the Lone Star.The Black Stars-Lone Star game is to mark Liberia’s independence anniversary.

The match will kick off at 1600 GMT.
