Glo Ghana unveils new competitive mobile tariff plan

Glo Mobile Ghana has launched a new competitive tariff plan, Glo Gista, which enables the network’s pre-paid customers to call any network in the country at six Ghana pesewa per minute.

This makes Glo network for off-net calls, the most competitive in the country currently.

Announcing the new tariff plan at a press briefing in Accra, Mr Augustine Mamuro Glo Ghana’s Head of Commercial said, Glo Gista package was highly innovative and would be rewarding to customers.

“It is this quest to empower the average Glo customer and avail him a more rewarding and less restrictive mobile network experience that we are introducing it in Ghana,” Mr Mamuro said.

The tariff plan is already operational in other markets that Glo operates in.

He said Glo Gista was for new and existing prepaid customers, who were already enjoying the Glo network Good day Ghana Package, adding that customer, who wish to join Glo Gista, would need to migrate from Good Day Ghana to the Glo Gista by inputting the migration code *200*1*1#.

Among the other benefits, subscribers of Glo Gista will enjoy include up to a 100 percent recharge bonuses, two Ghana pesewas per minute calls and two pesewas per SMS to 5 family and friends.

There are also free SMS the whole day after the customer’s first two SMS, a bonus of one minute free airtime to call all networks for every three minutes of calls received and free night calls, under which customers get 100 mega Bites data for browsing and 100 minutes for Glo to Glo calls.

Mr Mamuro urged subscribers to always make Glo Ghana their preferred network and promised them improved quality service and products at all times.
