Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have signed on seven players to augment their squad for the 2012/2013 Premier League.

The players have since teamed up with the team on the pre-season training tour of the Club currently at Winneba in the Central Region.

The new signings includes striking duo of Gilbert Fiamenyo and Richard Addai of Kpando Heart of Lions and Bechem United respectively. Others are Emmanuel Ansong from Aduana Stars; Seth Owusu – Medeama SC and Ivorian-import Robin Gnagne from Red Bull Soccer Academy.

The rest are Isaac Wahab from Dunkwa United and Paapa Hayford, from a lower division club.

Togbe Afede XIV, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club told GNA Sports that only 40 players will be maintained for the impending season; 25 of them for the regular side and the remainder for the reserve team.

The decision, he said is to motivate the players as much to give off their best to help the fortunes of the Club.

Meanwhile, the Club will also offload players deemed surplus to requirements by the technical team in the coming weeks.
