Trinity Theological Seminary loses 40 out of 60 acres land to encroachers

The Trinity Theological Seminary at Legon has lost 40 acres of its 60 acres of land to encroachers and these encroachers would not relent even though the Seminary is in court over the issue.

Reverend Dr Joseph Obiri Martey, President of the Seminary, said this when he addressed the thanksgiving and ordination service of the fourth General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) at Dzodze-Penyi on Sunday.

It was under the theme, “Strategic Evangelism for Sustainable Development”.

Rev Dr. Martey appealed to the Trustees of the Seminary to let the theme of the General Assembly be a rallying call to raise funds towards the development of the un-encroached portions of its land.

The Trustees of the Seminary are the EPC, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Methodist Church of Ghana, Anglican Church-Ghana and African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Zion Church-Ghana.
