Ghana, China pact football deal

Ghana and China have agreed to cooperate in further developing football in both countries.

The deal was reached August 15, 2012 when the Chinese Football Association met with the Ghana FA in Xi’an, China.

“Under the pact, Ghana will support China in developing their youth football while the Asians, who are giants in women’s football in the world, will help Ghana boost the female game in the West African country,” the GFA said in a statement.

According to the statement, coaches and referees as well as administrators will also be involved in the agreement as both countries will exchange experiences.

China held Ghana to a 1-1 draw in a friendly played in Xi’an on Wednesday night.
