New online money transfer platform for Ghanaians in Europe

WorldRemit, a UK-based company, on July 31, 2012 announced it has expanded its online money transfer services to Ghanaians in mainland Europe.

This means Ghanaians in the diaspora will now be able to send money to families and friends back home using the company’s variety of payment methods including debit cards, credit cards and local payment methods, the company said in a statement.

It says the service offers the widest range of payout options including instant cash pickup, bank deposits to any bank and airtime top-up, and offers an unprecedented convenience to Ghanaian professionals who can transfer funds from the privacy of their own homes or offices 24/7 at competitive prices.

WorldRemit is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority.
