Our correspondent invited for questioning at CID headquarters

Our correspondent, has been invited by the Ghana Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the instance of a mining company whose activities he has been investigating.

Pascal Kelvin Kudiabor, who is our investigative and oil and gas correspondent called the office this afternoon, July 16, 2012 while he was still been driven to the CID headquarters in Accra.

According to him, he was invited by the CID at the instance of a mining company Cardero Mining. But it is not clear why the company reported him to the CID.

Mr. Kudiabor has however, been looking into the affairs of the company regarding the Sheini iron ore mine in the north of Ghana, as part of his legitimate journalistic responsibilities.

We are in touch with him and following developments.

Stay tuned.
