Al Ain says Gyan penned four-year deal

United Arab Emirates club Al Ain on July 6, 2012 confirmed the permanent signing of Asamoah Gyan saying the Ghana forward inked a four-year deal from Sunderland.

“Negotiations between the two clubs were so professional,” said Al Ain on its website.

Gyan joined the club in 2011 on a loan contract from Sunderland and according to the UAE side, “showed excellent harmony with the players in and out the pitch”.

The player’s goals helped Al Ain in winning the league this year after eight years.
