Cargo plane crashes in Accra

An Allied Air cargo plane has crashed into the Hajj Village near the El-Wak Stadium in Accra.

It skidded off the run way and crushed after trying to land at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. The cargo plane was coming from Nigeria, according to a TV 3 news bulletin monitored by ghanabusinessnews.com.

There are some casualties, the report says. Meanwhile, personnel from the Police and Fire service are at the spot directing traffic.

    Ghana and Africa for that matter have poor aviation record in the world. need to be adddress. I will never fly local plane due to poor safety reasons.
