Ghana coach passport trouble holds back FA crunch meeting

Black Stars coach Goran Stevanovic

The Ghana Black Stars coach, Goran Stevanovic has failed to turn up for a crunch meeting with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in Accra which is to determine his future.

The meeting was supposed to take place today March 13, 2012 in Accra between Stevanovic and the GFA but the coach is currently not in town for the talks.

The GFA however explains that Stevanovic has encountered passport documentation issues in his base in Serbia prior to his departure.

“Stevanovic wrote to inform us about problems with his passport and that he will be issued a new one,” GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi told the FA’s website March 13, 2012.

Mr Nyantakyi said the FA is expecting Stevanovic in Accra Thursday March 15, 2012.
