Mills makes new ministerial changes, appointments

The President, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills has today March 6, 2012 made new ministerial changes and appointments, a presidential statement issued today says.

The statement signed by J.K Bebaako-Mensah, Secretary to the President, says “Hon. Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, Member of Parliament for Kpone-Katamanso replaces Hon. Nii Armah Ashietey as the Regional Minister for Greater Accra.”

It adds “Hon.  Dr. Apea-Kubi, Regional Minister for Eastern Region moves to the Office of the President as Minister of State while Amb. Victor Smith becomes Regional Minister for the Eastern Region.”

According to the statement, Hon. Henry Ford Kamel, Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources will now take over from Hon. Joseph Z. Amenowode as Regional Minister for the Volta Region.
