Nationwide training of unemployed graduates underway

Mr Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, on Monday said the nationwide training programme for graduate unemployed would serve as interface between theory and practice to make the beneficiaries accessible on the job market.

Mr Nyamekye-Marfo was addressing the open-day of a five-day workshop for 25 unemployed graduates in the region organised in Sunyani.

The participants were selected from the 22 municipal and district assemblies in the region.

In all 44 participants were expected to take part in the workshop but only 12 of them had reported at the opening day.

The programme covers five modules including, entrepreneurship competencies, the production process, market and marketing, financial management and business planning.
